Meet Liz

Fee-Only Financial Planner: As a child of a financial planner, I was always interested in helping others organize their finances and understand money. When I had my first child, like so many new parents, I realized the overwhelming need to make sure my family was financially prepared and protected. I got my CFP, joined the family firm, Frazier Financial Consultants, and started seeing clients to help them do the same. Developing relationships with my clients and using financial planning to help them reach their goals and enhance their lives is a true joy for me.

I am honored to be recognized on the Investopedia Top 100 Financial Advisors 2023!

Education / Media: I have my MBA and am a member of multiple financial associations including The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the country’s leading professional association of Fee-Only financial advisors. I am a regular financial contributor on Forbes.com, as well as an expert for other national platforms, podcasts and media.  See More Here.

Advocate for Financial Literacy: As my practice grew, I realized how many people are intimidated by finance and avoid managing their money.  Just understanding simple concepts around saving, spending, debt and protection can dramatically improve your life. People could avoid financial problems that can lead to divorce, poor health, depression, and bankruptcy. They could also learn how to responsibly spend and save their money in ways that provide opportunities and help them discover and reach their goals.

The intimidation and issues around finance with adults all stem from one thing – lack of education. No one is teaching finance to kids, so how are they supposed to understand it as an adult? Why are our kids not learning finance until they turn 18, and then are thrown into adulthood to make critical financial decisions?

Author: What started with some basic financial lessons for my own children quickly grew into a passion for getting children started on the right track. In 2019 I published Beyond Piggy Banks and Lemonade Stands: How To Teach Young Kids About Finance, a step-by-step guide for parents of elementary school children.

Financial Education for Teens: I am on the advisory board at Copper, the banking and financial education platform for teens, as the Executive Director of Financial Literacy. Copper shares my goal of creating the first financially literate generation.

My mission, through my practice, writing, speaking and partnerships is to create simple and relatable content, tools and resources so anyone can learn the basics of money management. I want you to feel protected and secure, have peace of mind and most importantly, discover and reach your real dreams. I want you to live a healthier and wealthier life.
